Mestri, scripted by Dasari Narayan Rao and helmed by Suresh Krissna, is a movie in tune with the present political climate. However, time will tell if there will be takers for this long 'political drama' which takes a dig at Chiranjeevi and his new political party.

Hero is another cop story in the mainstream genre with a message. Nitin and Bhavana perform well in this film directed by debutante director G V Sudhakar Naidu.
Director Teja seems to have got embroiled in the stereotypical pattern of filmmaking. Gone is the freshness associated with his films (as his earlier films Chitram and Jayam reflect). One can't help but wonder if he has lost his touch.
This Telugu movie has something good to convey yet is not preachy. Though there is nothing new in the story the film offers decent entertainment. One can view it for Srikkanth's acting.
Kotha Bangaru Lokam is a teenage romance set in a college backdrop. Varun Sandesh and Shweta Prasad make this film worth a watch. This entertainer is fresh with some good camera work, music and some thoughts on parenting.
